Sharpen your skis, Vivian Bruchez shares with us his favorite playground for steep skiing: Chamonix and its exceptional lines! In 2012/2013, thanks to his technique, his experience, and winters with incredible snowfalls, some routes that seemed impossible became possible. Accompanied by his mentor Pierre Tardivel but also by Kilian Jornet and Douds Charlet, the new generation of steep skiing is ready to take up the challenge by facing mythical descents such as the Migot Spur on Aiguille du Chardonnet or the Frigord Couloir at Aiguille Verte. Don't be fooled, even in 50° slopes, they are still able to joke around!

It had been on our minds for a while: to swap the "sofa interviews" of sportsmen and women for interviews where they are the happiest, in the mountains...

For this first "Vertical Interview", we were lucky enough to bring the maestro of steep skiing, Vivian Bruchez, to the Beaufortain massif for an open conversation on the ridges and couloirs of Mount Mirantin... Lots of laughs, technical advice, and a sharp vision of the mountain, captured by the director Sébastien Montaz-Rosset, Vivian's long-time friend.

Some climbs are more fun than others, but the most memorable are often the ones where you have to dig deep... Our bet is that Denis Urubko, Simone Morro and Cory Richards will remember this First Winter Ascent of an 8000 meter peak in Pakistan for a very long time!  One of the most intense mountain films we have ever seen, one that will leave you breathless!

Take on the 1,200m high pillar of Kyzyl Asker with our favourite Belgians: Sean Villanueva O'Driscoll, Nicolas Favresse, Stéphane Hanssens and Evrard Wendenbaum. A tremendous adventure where the technical level is as high as the seriousness is low. Weeks of exploration, difficult weather conditions, pervasive cold, a big wall performance... Yet, what we will remember from this adventure is the state of mind of these climbers, their humour as well as their musical sessions which make this film a must-see!

For this second Vertical Interview, we roped up with Nicolas Favresse to ascend a mythical route in the Gorges du Verdon called Ula.
A great opportunity to find out if Belgian jokes and guitar sessions matched well with Verdon's atmosphere... We were certainly not disappointed! Nico proves once again that his ability to climb the world's hardest cracks is only matched by his humour and his musical talents!
