The evening started with Julia : From a very young age, Julia Chanourdie discovered climbing, and was really good at it, both indoors and outdoors. This film follows the journey of this exceptional woman, only the third to have climbed a route graded 9b! Love of climbing, training and determination are the essential ingredients to her success. A fun and inspiring film!

The evening then continued with Chamlang. The future of french alpinism: Benjamin Védrines and Charles Dubouloz who tackled the north face of Chamlang. Pindrifts, suspended bivouacs, lengths of mixed and vertical ice… This film immerses us in the best of what is being done in the Himalayas in the 21st century!

Then,we joined Guillaume Pierrel accompanied by Tiphaine Dupérier, Boris Langenstein and Aurélia Lanoe, in opening new descents and skiing above 8000m. Ô'Parizad : following the footsteps of the pioneers of the 1970s, they climb Gasherbrum II, without porters or oxygen, with the objective of descending the southern spur on skis. A moving story between mentors and the new generation where friendship will overcome all doubts!

The audience was then able to test their emotions with Kevin Rolland, a freestyle ski legend.

Before finishing his career as a competitor, he hopes to break the world record in a quarter pipe, more than 12 meters high… During an attempt, he falls heavily. He’s between life and death and when he wakes up, the doctors tell him that he will probably never be able to ski again. For Kevin, a fight to recover began, with the dream of participating in the Beijing Olympics in sight. A magnificent film, full of emotions, courage and resilience
